What AwardScan does
AwardScan is a Chrome extension that searches for SAS partner award flight availability automatically. It reads your existing SAS login session to perform searches on your behalf.
Data we collect
- Email address — used for account creation and login via Supabase authentication.
- SAS session cookie — read from your browser to authenticate award flight searches. This cookie is never stored, transmitted to our servers, or shared with third parties.
Data stored locally
The following data is stored in your browser using Chrome's local storage and is never sent to external servers:
- Watch configurations (routes, date ranges, cabin preferences)
- Scan results and history
- User preferences (scan time, notification settings)
Third-party services
- Supabase — provides user authentication (email/password). Supabase stores your email and hashed password. Supabase Privacy Policy
- SAS (sas.se) — award flight searches are made directly to the SAS website using your existing browser session.
What we do NOT do
- We never access or store your SAS password
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties
- We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising
- We do not transmit your search results to external servers
Data deletion
You can delete all local data by uninstalling the extension. To delete your account, log out from the extension settings or contact us.
