Common questions

Do I need a SAS account?
Yes. AwardScan uses your existing SAS login to search the award booking system. You need to be logged into sas.se in Chrome.
Does AwardScan see my password?
No. AwardScan reads your browser session cookie to authenticate searches. Your password is never accessed or stored.
Why does scanning take time?
SAS limits how many searches you can do. AwardScan waits between searches to stay under the limit and auto-retries if blocked. That's why overnight scanning works best.
What is hub expansion?
Many award flights aren't available from your home airport. AwardScan also searches from SkyTeam hubs like Amsterdam and Paris, where there's much more availability.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel before your 48-hour trial ends and you won't be charged. After that, cancel anytime from your account.
